Out of My Head
The shopkeep told me to get out of my head
So I did
And once again I was shown how people do not like me
My honesty and directness
It upsets these hypocrites
Go back inside your head
Stop connecting in vain
Though I enjoy the freedom to be me
Conveying how and what I feel as if I matter
I'll pen it for you though
Because in poems I can say what I want
And recite it in your Queen's English
Like all the parrots do
And you will lap it up
And congratulate me on being so profound.
